Jamie creates whimsical gourd sculptures that reflect her playfulness and enthusiasm for life. Gourd sculpture provides her a way to be playful in three dimensions. She loves finding ordinary objects in the world that speak to her to become something different…and she lets them.

Before she began her career in the arts, Jamie was a teacher, architect, and workshop facilitator. She has masters' degrees in education and architecture and a pedigree in FUN.

Jamie's home and studio (her "playhouse") are in Alto, NM
