July 16, 2011, 1 pm to 4:30 pm, HCPC, room 407.
August 27, 2011, 9 am to 1 pm, Quarterly Meeting at Palo Duro Senior Center.
September 17, 2011, 2 pm to 4:30 pm HCPC, room 407.
October 12, 2011, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm HCPC, room 407.
November 26, 2011, 10 am to 12:3 pm, at Palo Duro Senior Center. This will be the NMGS Holiday Party and quarterly membership meeting.

Saturday September 17, 2011, Meet us at the Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd., NE. Albuquerque, NM, 2 pm to 4:30 pm, for a "Feather Event".
Kitty Riordan has arranged for some great packaged feathers to be available for purchase. In addition, there will be pieces of suede and fur and small antlers for sale. Following sales there will be some discussion regarding the use of feathers to include cleaning, storing, and how to use. If you have a decorated gourd with feathers bring it along to show and tell.

October 12, 2011, Membership Meeting at the Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd., NE, Albuquerque, NM, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
There will be two presentations by member artists. To begin Lucy Cooley will be demonstrating painting and carving on gourds. Kathy Elrick will then show us how to add polymer clay to our gourds. This should be a wonderful event and we hope to see many members present.

November 26, 2011, Holiday Party and Membership Meeting, Palo Duro Senior Center, 5221 Palo Duro Ave., NE. Albuquerque, NM 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Join the fun as we celebrate the holidays. Gourd challenge #4, a gourd wreath, will be judged and there will be a gourd exchange and work will be done on a friendship gourd.
